A multiple bet is a single sports wager linking together several individual sports bets. It's biggest advantage is that there are massive payoffs using very low stakes. As little as $1 can generate a payout in excess of $500,000 since the winnings from one selection are carried over to the other. There are many multiple bets.
The smallest is a double (aka two-bet accumulator) in which you have to predict the winners of two events, and both must win to get a return. The ultimate multiple bet is Goliath and it denotes 247 bets involving 8 selections linked up in 28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 four-folds, 56 five-folds, 28 six-folds, 8 seven-folds and 1 eight-fold.
Multiple bets
Double - 1 bet on 2 selections in different events. To get a return both selections must be successful.
Treble - 1 bet on 3 selections in different events. To get a return all the selections must be successful.
Accumulator (4-Fold, 5-fold,...,10-fold) - 1 bet on 4 or more selections in different events. To get a return all the selections must be successful.

Trixie - 4 bets with three selections in different events (3 doubles, 1 treble). At least 2 selections must be successful to get a return.
Yankee - 11 bets on four selections in different events (6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 four-fold). At least 2 selections must be successful to get a return.
Canadian/ Super Yankee - 26 bets on five selections in different events (10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds, 1 five-fold). At least 2 of your selections must be successful to get a return.
Heinz - 57 bets on six selections in different events (15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds, 1 six-fold). At least 2 selections must be successful to get a return.
Super Heinz - 120 bets on seven selections in different events (21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, 7 six-folds, 1 seven-fold). At least 2 selections must be successful to get a return.
Goliath - 247 bets on eight selections in different events (28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 four-folds, 56 five-folds, 28 six-folds, 8 seven-folds, 1 eight-fold). At least 2 selections must be successful to get a return.

Patent - 7 bets on three selections in different events (3 singles, 3 doubles, 1 treble). One successful selection means a return.

Lucky 31 - 31 bets on five selections in different events (5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds, 1 five-fold). One successful selection means a return.
