How Predictions Work

We aim to publish daily football predictions, usually before 12:00 UK time. However, predictions may not be available every day depending on the match schedule and available analysis.

Popular Betting Terms

Betting can seem confusing at first, but once you understand the basics, it becomes much easier. Below are some of the most commonly used betting terms explained:

  • 1 – Home win
  • X – Draw
  • 2 – Away win
  • BTTS – Both teams to score (Yes)
  • 2 or 3 goals – The match will have exactly two or three goals
  • X ( HT) – Draw at half-time
  • 1 / 1 – Home team leads at half-time and wins the match
  • 1X – Double chance (home win or draw)
  • O 2.0 – Over 2 goals (stake returned if exactly 2 goals)
  • O 2.5 – Over 2.5 goals (3 or more goals needed)
  • U 2.0 – Under 2 goals (stake returned if exactly 2 goals)
  • U 2.5 – Under 2.5 goals (max 2 goals in the match)
  • 1 (0 AH) – Asian Handicap 0 (stake returned if draw)
  • 1 (–1 AH) – Must win by 2+ goals (1 goal = refund)
  • 1 (–1.5 AH) – Must win by 2+ goals (1 goal = loss)
  • 1 DNB – Draw No Bet (refund if draw)
